Coronavirus Safety Protocols
Providing a healthy office environment has always been a top priority for our Raleigh, NC practice but with the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be even more vigilant than usual. We have reviewed recommendations from state and national organizations on the best practices to limit the spread of disease and have implemented some new procedures.

A Different Look in the Office
Our team members will look a little different wearing the recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We’ll also be taking extra infection-control steps. Some of these include daily dentist and staff temperature checks and even more frequent hand washing. We’ll also be disinfecting surfaces in areas that may be touched by multiple people. Additionally, our waiting room has been cleared of magazines, toys, and refreshments.
Scheduling Your Appointment
We are scheduling fewer appointments each day so that we can keep our patients at a safe distance from each other. Only one person may attend each appointment, however exceptions will be made for minors or family members who need special accommodations. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some families.

Prior to Your Appointment
Necessary forms, including a COVID-19 questionnaire, need to be filled out and sent back to us before the appointment. The forms are available on our website. They can also be emailed or faxed. The COVID-19 questions will determine if the patient has any symptoms of the virus, has been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or has recently traveled to a virus hotspot. Please stay home if you are sick, whether you believe your illness is related to the virus or not. We are happy to reschedule your appointment.
New Check-In Procedures
When you arrive for your appointment, park outside our office and give us a call. We will telephone you when we are ready for you to enter the office. We will take your temperature at the door and before treatment begins, each patient will be given a peroxide mouth rinse.

Extra Precautions
Some of these extra precautions are for the protection of our patients, and some are for the protection of our team members. None of the precautions will be particularly convenient but we thank you for your patience and cooperation! It is our goal to provide the exceptional dental care you have come to expect from Northside Dental in an environment that is safe for everyone.
